Trust Accounts
We have developed the course on Trust Accounting (section 20 of the Debt Collectors Act 114/98 as amended) in order for Debt Collection Agencies to come to grips with Trust Accounting. The workshop will be interactive and at the end of the day the delegates will understand the difference between the debtors’ account, the trust account and the business account. Delegates will also be able to manage the interaction between these 3 accounts and comply with the relevant legislation and accounting principles. The workshop will provide the training needed to enhance the efficiency of the management and staff in managing the accounting as provided for in the Act on Debt Collectors – making mistakes could cost the business its registration certificate at the Council.
